WASHINGTON – The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission will join government officials from El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and other federal agencies on May 10 to establish partnerships that help people from these countries who work in the U.S. understand their equal employment rights under federal law and other employment issues.

El Salvador Ambassador Milena Mayorga, Guatemala Ambassador Alfonso Quiñónez, and Honduras Chargé d’Affaires Javier Bú will represent their governments at the signing event at the U.S. Department of Labor’s headquarters in the Frances Perkins Building.

In addition, officials from the three Central American governments will sign similar partnerships with the U.S. Department of Labor and the National Labor Relations Board during the event.
